Technical customer hotline employee
A technical customer hotline employee is part of the Gira support team. He or she provides customer support in German or English for a variety of topics by phone, email and also via social media channels. Our customer base includes Gira System Integrators, the electrical trade, professional planners, wholesalers, and private customers.
Technical consulting involves dealing with pre-sales and after-sales enquiries. Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting are also part of the job on the technical customer hotline.
Hotline employees should be trained electricians, so that they can respond to customer concerns in a focused and professional manner. A subsequent degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (master electrician / electrical engineer) is a prerequisite. It is also important to have good or excellent knowledge in the field of building automation: KNX, IP and network technology, the KNX bus system in general, as well as knowledge of wireless technology.
